About Our Balloons

What makes Heavenly Balloons different from regular balloons?

Heavenly Balloons are designed specifically for graveside tributes, cemetery visits, and memorial gatherings — not for parties or events. Every balloon in our collection features a heart-shaped design with delicate white angel wings, crafted from durable aluminum foil that holds up beautifully outdoors. Our balloons carry meaningful messages — Happy Heavenly Birthday, Rest In Paradise, Thinking of You, I Miss You, I Love You, and more — making them a deeply personal and purposeful tribute rather than a generic decoration.

What size are your balloons?

We offer two sizes across our collection. Our standalone memorial balloons are 17" heart-shaped and are perfect for helium floating displays or air-filled indoor and outdoor memorials. Our balloons on a stick feature an 8" heart-shaped balloon mounted on a 9" display stick, designed specifically for pressing directly into the ground at a graveside, headstone, or grave marker.

What material are your balloons made from?

All of our balloons are crafted from high-quality aluminum foil — the same durable material used in premium foil balloons. Aluminum foil balloons are significantly more durable than latex balloons, hold their shape and inflation better over time, and are much more resistant to outdoor conditions making them ideal for graveside and cemetery use.

Are your balloons weatherproof?

Our balloons are crafted from durable aluminum foil and are designed to hold up well in outdoor conditions. Most customers find their balloons last several days to a week or more at a graveside depending on weather conditions. Extreme wind, rain, or direct prolonged sun exposure will affect longevity as with any balloon. We recommend checking your cemetery's decoration policy before visiting as individual cemeteries may have their own guidelines about how long decorations can remain.

Do you have balloons for specific relationships?

Yes — our collection includes dedicated designs for Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Brother, Sister, Son, Daughter, and Baby as well as general memorial messages like Rest In Paradise, Thinking of You, I Miss You, I Love You, and Celebration of Life. Inflation & Display

Do your balloons require helium?

Our balloons on a stick are air-fillable only — no helium required. Simply inflate with a manual or electric balloon pump, clip the balloon onto the display stick, and press the stick directly into the soil at a graveside or into a flower arrangement. Our standalone 17" balloons can be filled with either helium for a classic floating display or air for a supported indoor or outdoor display — giving you complete flexibility for any memorial setting.

How do I inflate my Heavenly Balloon?

For balloons on a stick — use a manual or electric balloon pump to inflate through the self-sealing valve. Once inflated clip the balloon onto the display stick and press the stick into the ground at a graveside or into a flower arrangement. No helium, no special equipment, and no expertise required — your tribute is ready in minutes.

For 17" standalone balloons — use a helium tank for a floating display or a balloon pump for an air-filled display. The balloon features a self-sealing valve so once inflated simply fold the valve closed to seal.

Does a helium tank or pump come with the balloon?

No — balloons ship uninflated and helium tanks and pumps are not included. For balloons on a stick a standard manual balloon pump available at most party supply stores works perfectly. For 17" helium balloons most grocery stores, party supply stores, and florists offer helium inflation services at a low cost.

How do I display a balloon on a stick at a graveside?

Simply inflate the balloon, clip it onto the display stick, and press the pointed end of the stick firmly into the soil near the headstone or grave marker. The stick is designed to hold securely in most soil conditions. For harder ground or artificial turf some customers find it helpful to use a small tool to create a starter hole before inserting the stick.

Can I use your balloons indoors as well as outdoors?

Absolutely. Our balloons are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. At a graveside or cemetery, our balloons on a stick press directly into the soil and require no helium. For indoor memorial services, celebration of life ceremonies, and remembrance gatherings our 17" balloons can be filled with helium for a classic floating display or air-filled for a table or shelf display.

How long will my balloon stay inflated?

Aluminum foil balloons typically stay inflated for one to two weeks or longer when kept at room temperature indoors. Outdoor conditions including wind, temperature changes, and direct sun exposure will affect inflation longevity. Our balloons on a stick are air-filled which means they will stay inflated significantly longer than helium-filled balloons.

Ordering & Shipping

How quickly will my order ship?

All orders placed before 2:00 PM PST on business days (Monday through Friday) are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed and shipped the next business day. We understand that graveside visits are often time-sensitive and we are committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — we offer free shipping on all orders of $12 or more. No discount code is needed as the free shipping is applied automatically at checkout for qualifying orders.

Which carriers do you use for shipping?

We ship via USPS and other major carriers depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships so you can follow your package every step of the way.

Can I track my order?

Yes — once your order ships you will receive a tracking confirmation email with your tracking number. You can also track your order directly on our website by visiting the Track Your Order page.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Currently we ship within the United States only. We are working to expand our shipping options in the future. If you are located outside the U.S. and are interested in our products please contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If you need to change the color, quantity, or any details of your order please contact us immediately by phone at 818-210-9366 (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST). Due to our same-day shipping policy orders are processed very quickly and we cannot guarantee changes can be made after an order has been placed — but we will always do our best to help.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We gladly accept returns and exchanges for uninflated balloons within 14 days of purchase. To receive a full refund the balloon must be returned to our facility in its original uninflated condition. Please note that inflated balloons cannot be returned.

What if my balloon arrives damaged?

If your balloon arrives damaged due to shipping we will replace it at no additional cost to you. Please contact us immediately upon receiving a damaged item at [email protected] or call us at 818-210-9366 and include a photo of the damage so we can process your replacement as quickly as possible.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at 818-210-9366 (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST) and we will guide you through the return or exchange process. Please have your order number ready when you contact us.

Cemetery & Graveside Use

Can I use Heavenly Balloons at a cemetery?

Yes — our balloons are specifically designed for cemetery and graveside use. However individual cemeteries have their own decoration policies and guidelines. We recommend checking with your specific cemetery before your visit to ensure balloons are permitted and to understand any guidelines around decoration placement, size, or duration. Most cemeteries welcome tasteful graveside decorations including balloons on a stick.

How do I place a balloon on a stick at a headstone?

Press the pointed end of the display stick firmly into the soil near the headstone or grave marker. Position the balloon at the side of the headstone or in front of the grave marker so it is clearly visible and makes a meaningful visual tribute. For a fuller display many families combine a balloon on a stick with fresh flowers, placing the balloon stick directly into the floral arrangement.

Can I combine a balloon with flowers at the graveside?

Absolutely — in fact this is one of our most popular display suggestions. Simply press the balloon stick into a flower arrangement or floral foam at the graveside and the heart-shaped balloon with angel wings will stand tall above the flowers creating a beautiful and deeply personal tribute display.

How long can I leave a balloon at a graveside?

This depends on both weather conditions and your cemetery's decoration policy. In calm weather conditions our aluminum foil balloons typically hold up well for several days to a week or more at a graveside. Always check your cemetery's guidelines on how long decorations may remain before your visit.

Yes — our Happy Heavenly Birthday Cake Topper with Angel Wings is available as a 2-Pack and features colorful balloon-style lettering with delicate white angel wings. At 15.74 cm wide and 14.22 cm tall it fits most standard cakes and is both durable and reusable — perfect for memorial birthday cakes, celebration of life gatherings, and remembrance events. The topper stake also inserts into soil making it suitable for graveside display as well.
